Die Söhne und Töchter der katholischen Kirche kennen bereits die Wege, die der Heilige Stuhl angegeben hat, damit sie dieses Ziel erreichen können: Kennenlernen der Liturgie der Ostkirchen; (62) Vertiefung der Kenntnis von den geistlichen Traditionen der Väter und Lehrer des christlichen Orients; (63) Herausstellung der Ostkirchen als Beispiel für die Inkulturation der Botschaft des Evangeliums; Ankämpfen gegen die Spannungen zwischen Lateinern und Orientalen und Anregung des Dialogs zwischen Katholiken und Orthodoxen; Ausbildung von Theologen, Liturgikern, Historikern und Kanonisten in Einrichtungen, die auf den christlichen Osten spezialisiert sind, damit sie ihrerseits die Kenntnis von den Kirchen des Orients verbreiten können; ein diesen Themen entsprechendes Lehrangebot - vor allem für die künftigen Priester - an den Priesterseminaren und an den Theologischen Fakultäten.

The children of the Catholic Church already know the ways indicated by the Holy See for achieving this: to know the liturgy of the Eastern Churches;(62) to deepen their knowledge of the spiritual traditions of the Fathers and Doctors of the Christian East,(63) to follow the example of the Eastern Churches for the inculturation of the Gospel message; to combat tensions between Latins and Orientals and to encourage dialogue between Catholics and the Orthodox; to train in specialized institutions theologians, liturgists, historians and canonists for the Christian East, who in turn can spread knowledge of the Eastern Churches; to offer appropriate teaching on these subjects in seminaries and theological faculties, especially to future priests.(

Les fils de l'Église catholique connaissent déjà les voies que le Saint-Siège a indiquées pour qu'ils puissent atteindre cet objectif : connaître la liturgie des Églises d'Orient (62) ; approfondir la connaissance des traditions spirituelles des Pères et des Docteurs de l'Orient chrétien (63) ; prendre exemple sur les Églises d'Orient en ce qui concerne l'inculturation du message de l'Évangile ; combattre les tensions entre Latins et Orientaux et stimuler le dialogue entre catholiques et orthodoxes ; former dans les institutions spécialisées dans l'Orient chrétien des théologiens, liturgistes, historiens et canonistes qui puissent diffuser à leur tour la connaissance des Églises d'Orient ; offrir dans les séminaires et dans les facultés de théologie un enseignement adapté de ces matières, qui soit surtout à l'intention des futurs prêtres (64).

Os filhos da Igreja Católica já conhecem os caminhos que a Santa Sé indicou para que eles possam atingir tal objectivo: conhecer a liturgia das Igrejas do Oriente (62); aprofundar o conhecimento das tradições espirituais dos Padres e Doutores do Oriente cristão (63); seguir o exemplo das Igrejas do Oriente na inculturação da mensagem do Evangelho; combater as tensões entre Latinos e Orientais e estimular o diálogo entre Católicos e Ortodoxos; formar, em instituições especializadas sobre o Oriente cristão, teólogos, liturgistas, historiadores e canonistas, que, por sua vez, possam difundir o conhecimento das Igrejas do Oriente; oferecer, nos seminários e faculdades teológicas, um ensino adequado sobre tais matérias, sobretudo aos futuros sacerdotes (64).
