본 발명은 용량 가변형 사판식 압축기에 관한 것으로서, 하우징과, 상기 하우징 내에 회전이 가능하게 설치되는 구동축과, 상기 하우징 내에서 회전운동하면서 경사각이 변할 수 있게 설치되는 사판과, 상기 사판에 동력을 전달하는 러그 플레이트와, 상기 러그 플레이트와 사판의 전면 사이에 지지된 가세스프링과, 상기 사판과 미끄럼 이동에 의해 왕복이동하는 피스톤을 포함하여 구성되는 용량 가변형 사판식 압축기에 있어서, 상기 구동축의 외주면에 형성되되, 단차가 발생하도록 단턱을 가지는 단차부, 상기 사판의 후면과 이격된 상기 단차부에 장착되는 스냅링 및 상기 단차부에 상기 스냅링에 의해 일측이 지지되는 복귀스프링의 탄성력에 의해 단차부를 따라 이동하도록 장착되되, 상기 사판을 향한 방향으로의 최대 이동시에는 상기 단턱에 일단이 걸리고 상기 반대방향으로의 최대 이동시에는 상기 스냅링에 타단이 걸리는 리턴링을 포함하여 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 한다.
