له وین از باریکه راهی وارد محوطهای شد که یک طرفش را انبوه گلهای بنفش فرنگی خودرویی گرفته بود که لابه لای آنها دستههایی از گلهای بلند و تیره رنگ گل اشرفی روییده بود و میهمانان خود را به زیر سایه خانک سپیدارهای جوان روی یک نیمکت و چند کنده درخت نشاند که مخصوص میهمانان و دیدارکنندگان از زنبورداری بود که امکان داشت از زنبورها بترسند.
