The Committee is concerned about the very low rate of representation of women in decision-making positions in all spheres, in particular in Parliament (0.3 per cent), the Government (1.82 per cent of commissioned ministers) and the judiciary (1.65 per cent), as well as in the public and private sectors, including in the public administration, the foreign service and academia.
