وبعد مرور عشرين عاما على إنشاء ولاية مفوضة الأمم المتحدة السامية لحقوق الإنسان، يقع على عاتق المجتمع الدولي واجب جماعي في الحفاظ على المكاسب التي تحققت في مجال تعزيز وحماية جميع حقوق الإنسان للجميع، وتعبئة الجهود من أجل التصدي الفعال للتحديات المزمنة والناشئة التي تحول دون إحراز مزيد من التقدم على كل من الصعيد العالمي والقطري.

Twenty years after the establishment of the mandate of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, it is the collective duty of the international community to uphold gains made in the promotion and protection of all human rights for all and to mobilize to effectively address chronic, as well as emerging, challenges hindering further progress, globally and at the country level.
