One of the main causes of the crisis in the textile sector is that products can be imported from Asian countries at a low cost, given the different wage conditions and the almost complete lack of social guarantees for workers in countries such as China, India and Pakistan, which are often also associated with child exploitation in the form of the use of child labour.
