If the results of at least two of the three operations described in paragraph 3.2.4. above do not satisfy the requirements of paragraph 3.2.2. above, or if the verification cannot take place because the vehicle manufacturer has failed to supply information regarding the position of the "R" point or regarding the design torso angle, the centroid of the three measured points or the average of the three measured angles shall be used and be regarded as applicable in all cases where the "R" point or the design torso angle is referred to in this Regulation.

Si, après les trois opérations de mesure définies au paragraphe 3.2.4 ci‐dessus, deux résultats au moins ne correspondent pas aux prescriptions du paragraphe 3.2.2 ci‐dessus, ou si la vérification ne peut avoir lieu parce que le constructeur du véhicule n’a pas fourni les informations concernant la position du point «R» ou l’angle prévu de torse, le barycentre des trois points obtenus ou la moyenne des trois angles mesurés doit être utilisé à titre de référence chaque fois qu’il est fait appel, dans le présent Règlement, au point «R» ou à l’angle prévu de torse.

Если результаты по меньшей мере двух из трех измерений, описанных в пункте 3.2.4 выше, не отвечают предписаниям пункта 3.2.2 выше или если проверка невозможна в связи с тем, что завод-изготовитель транспортного средства не представил информации, касающейся положения точки "R" или конструктивного угла наклона туловища, то могут использоваться барицентр трех полученных точек или средние значения трех измеренных углов, которые будут считаться приемлемыми во всех случаях, когда в настоящих Правилах упоминается точка "R" или конструктивный угол наклона туловища.
