Crop prices significantly increased, especially the prices of energy crops, cereal and grain, and food crops. Greater demand for alternative energy sources especially from energy crops, and supply constraint of grain have underpinned such price movement. Price rises while production continued to expand supported farm income growth of 21.1 percent.
