It was designed by Joan Rubio following the gothic plan of chapels in Cathedrals: its height allowed the opening of three stained glass windows in the background, painted by Darius Vilas, with scenes of the life of the great monk and reformer that are also represented in the six side bass-reliefs next to a group of Cistercian Saints.

Fue diseñado por Joan Rubió siguiendo el plan gótico de las capillas de la Catedral: su altura permitió la apertura de los tres vitrales del fondo, dibujados por Darius Vilàs, con escenas de la vida del gran monje y reformador, que son representadas también en los seis bajo relieves laterales, junto a un conjunto de santos del Císter.
