وحتى 22 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 2013، استخرجت أفرقة علماء الآثار المشتركة بين الطائفتين والتابعة للجنة رفات ألف فرد على جانبي المنطقة العازلة؛ وخضع رفات 818 من المفقودين للتحليل في المرحلة الأولية في مختبر اللجنة لعلم الإنسان المشترك بين الطائفتين؛ وتم تحديد هوية رفات 456 من المفقودين (359 من القبارصة اليونانيين و97 من القبارصة الأتراك) وأُعيد رفاتهم إلى ذويهم، 124 منهم أُعيد رفاتهم منذ 1 كانون الأول/ ديسمبر 2012.

As at 22 November 2013, the remains of 1,000 individuals had been exhumed on both sides of the buffer zone by the Committee’s bicommunal teams of archaeologists; the remains of 818 missing persons had been analysed in the initial phase at the Committee’s bicommunal anthropological laboratory; and the remains of 456 missing individuals (359 Greek Cypriots and 97 Turkish Cypriots) had been identified and returned to their respective families, including 124 since 1 December 2012.

Al 22 de noviembre de 2013, los equipos bicomunitarios de arqueólogos del Comité habían exhumado los restos mortales de 1.000 personas a ambos lados de la zona tampón; el laboratorio antropológico bicomunitario había analizado los restos mortales de 818 personas desaparecidas en fase inicial; y se habían identificado y entregado a sus respectivas familias los restos mortales de 456 personas desaparecidas (359 grecochipriotas y 97 turcochipriotas), 124 de ellas desde el 1 de diciembre de 2012.
