وتحيط المجموعة الداعية لإقامة مجتمع الديمقراطيات علما بشكل خاص بملاحظة الأمين العام الواردة في الفقرة # من تقريره ( # ) عن مسألة وجود محفلين دوليين، هما مؤتمر الديمقراطيات الجديدة والمستعادة ومجتمع الديمقراطيات، يؤديان دورا هاما في تعبئة الإرادة السياسية من أجل تعزيز القيم والمبادئ والممارسات الديمقراطية، وكفالة ألا تضيع من الأجيال المقبلة فرص الاطلاع على الدروس المستفادة من عمليات إقامة الديمقراطية في أجزاء العالم المختلفة

The Convening Group of the Community of Democracies particular note of the observation of the Secretary-General contained in paragraph # of his report ( # ) on the issue that two international forums- namely, the Conference of New or Restored Democracies and the Community of Democracies- play an important role in mobilizing the political will for advancing democratic values, principles and practices and ensuring that the lessons learned from democratization processes in various parts of the world will not be lost by future generations

El Grupo Convocador de la Comunidad de Democracias toma nota en particular de la observación que hace el Secretario General en el párrafo # de su informe ( # ) en el sentido de que ambos foros internacionales, a saber, la Conferencia de las Democracias Nuevas o Restauradas y la Comunidad de Democracias, desempeñan un importante papel en la movilización de la voluntad política para promover las prácticas y los valores y principios democráticos y para velar por que las lecciones aprendidas de los procesos de democratización que han tenido lugar en varias partes del mundo no se pierdan y se preserven para las futuras generaciones
