وحول الآثار السلبية للعولمة، وعبء الديون غير المستدام والخسائر غير المبررة وغير المقبولة في الأرواح من جراء أمراض يمكن توقيها كالملاريا، بينما ينتشر فيروس نقص المناعة البشري/الإيدز الذي نكبت به الدول الأفريقية بوجه خاص، انتشارا بسرعة مخيفة في أنحاء أخرى من العالم

The halls of this Assembly are echoing the concern and anger of the least developed countries, the small island States and the developing States in general, about the widening gap between rich and poor, the negative impact of globalization, the unsustainable debt burden, the inexcusable and unacceptable loss of life from curable diseases, such as malaria, while HIV/AIDS, which plagues especially the African States, is spreading with frightening speed in other parts of the world

En las salas de esta Asamblea reverberan la preocupación y la ira de los países menos adelantados, los pequeños Estados insulares y los Estados en desarrollo, en general, por la brecha creciente que existe entre ricos y pobres; los efectos negativos de la mundialización; la carga insostenible de la deuda; la pérdida inexcusable e inaceptable de vidas por enfermedades curables, como el paludismo, mientras que el VIH/SIDA, que afecta sobre todo a los Estados africanos, se disemina con velocidad aterradora por otras partes del mundo

本大会各个会堂仍然回响着最不发达国家、小岛国和全体发展中国家对下列问题的关切和愤怒:贫富差距日益扩大、全球化的负面影响、不可持续的债务负担、可医治的疾病,如疟疾造成的不可原谅和不可接受的生命损失,同时特别困扰非洲国家的艾滋病毒/艾滋病,正在以惊人的速度在世界其它地区蔓延。
