A pesar del retraso en la transmisión al Comité de los Derechos del Niño del informe periódico sobre la Convención sobre los Derechos del Niño, el Gobierno de Guinea ha demostrado voluntad para contribuir a la protección de los derechos del niño, lo que ha permitido: a) elaborar el código del niño guineano; b) firmar dos acuerdos básicos multilaterales con los países de la subregión occidental africana sobre la trata de niños y preparar un plan de acción nacional; y c) procurar que las fuerzas y grupos armados no recluten niños
