والجدير بالإشارة في هذا الإطار المشروع الذي بدأته اللجنة الدائمة المشتركة بين الدول لمكافحة الجفاف في منطقة الساحل بشراكة مع اتحاد المغرب العربي والذي يدور حول أنشطة جمع بيانات الفيزياء الأحيائية وتحليلها ودمجها، وإصدار البيانات الإحصائية والوثائق الشاملة للخرائط قصد استحداث نماذج للتنبؤ والإنذار المبكر.

A case in point is that launched by the Permanent Inter-State Committee on Drought Control in the Sahel (CILSS) in partnership with the Arab Maghreb Union (AMU), which involves the collection, analysis and compilation of biophysical data and the production of statistics and cartographic materials, with the aim of developing up-to-date forecasting and early warning models.

En este marco cabe señalar el ejemplo dado por el Comité Interestatal de Lucha contra la Sequía en el Sahel (CILSS) conjuntamente con la Unión del Maghreb Árabe (UMA), que se articula en torno a actividades de recopilación, análisis e integración de datos biofísicos, producción de datos estadísticos y documentos cartográficos, y cuya finalidad es la elaboración de modelos de predicción y de alerta temprana.

Dans ce cadre, on remarquera l’exemple initié par le Comité Inter-Etats de Lutte contre la Sécheresse au Sahel (CILSS) en partenariat avec l’Union du Maghreb Arabe (UMA) qui s’articule autour d’activités de collecte, d’analyse et d’intégration des données biophysiques, de production de données statistiques et de documents cartographiques, avec pour finalité la mise au point de modèles de prédiction et d’alerte précoce.
