Ebenfalls auf eine Gründung Karls geht die zur Kirche gehörende Pfarrschule zurück, die noch im 16. und 17. Jahrhundert zu den besten Schulen Böhmens gehörte und neben der Universität die angesehenste Lehranstalt in Prag war.

Likewise, the parish school at the church was established by Charles IV and even in the 16th and 17th centuries it was still counted among the best schools in Bohemia and along with the University was one of the most outstanding educational institutes in Prague.
