ولوقف تدفق الهاربات الذي يزيد من أعباء مراكز الإنقاذ، قدمت الاستراتيجية الجديدة الدعم فيما يتعلق بإسداء المشورة وشددت على المصالحة مع الآباء وإعادة الإدماج في المجتمع ليتسنى للفتيات اللاتي هربن بسبب تلك الممارسات العودة إلى بيوتهن دون المجازفة ببتر أعضائهن التناسلية أو إجبارهن على الزواج.

To stem the influx of runaways overburdening rescue centres, the new strategy supported counselling and emphasized a reconciliation with parents and reintegration into the community so that girls who ran away from these practices could go back to their homes without risking genital cutting or forced marriages.

В целях ограничения притока сбежавших из дома подростков, перегружающего центры по спасению, в новой стратегии предусмотрена поддержка наставничества и уделено особое внимание примирению с родителями и реинтеграции в общину, с тем чтобы девочки, сбежавшие от людей, практикующих эти обычаи, смогли вернуться домой, не подвергаясь опасности обрезания половых органов или вынужденного брака.
