وينص قانون ملكية المرأة المتزوجة على أن تكون ممتلكات المرأة، سواء اكتُسبت قبل الزواج أو أثناءه، مملوكة كما لو كانت امرأة وحيدة ويمكن التصرف فيها على هذا الأساس.

The Married Women's Property Act provides that property, which belongs to a woman whether it is acquired before or during marriage, is held as if she were a feme sole and may be disposed of accordingly.
