The CA or RA shall ensure that a record is kept of the name of the individual, the attestation made by the CRI to the fact that the identification and authentication was done, the means by which the identity of the role holder has been established and authenticated, and of any type of identification used, but is not obliged to keep a copy of the identification itself.

Le RC doit fournir l'information suivante à l'AC : 1. des renseignement sur l'identité de la personne; 2. une attestation indiquant que l'identification et l'authentification ont été réalisées; 3. l'identification de l'équipement (p. ex. le numéro de série) ou de l'application (p. ex. le nom du service DNS); 4. les clés publiques de l'équipement ou de l'application; 5. une autorisation pour l'équipement ou l'application et les attributs (si ces attributs doivent être inclus dans le certificat); 6. des renseignement sur les personnes‐ressources permettant à l'AC ou à l'AE de communiquer avec le détenteur désigné de certificat et le RC.
