The present invention relates to the construction of an assay system for analysing the performance of LRR (leucine rich repeat) proteins, that are constituted by the repeat combination of LRR modules, as septicaemia-inhibiting protein therapeutic agents, and for screening protein therapeutic agents that exhibit an outstanding inhibiting performance from a sequence variation library.
