وإذ تدرك أن الأمين العام خلص إلى أن هذا الانسكاب النفطي غير مشمول بأي من الصناديق الدولية الخاصة بالتعويضات في حالات الانسكاب النفطي وإلى أنه بالتالي يستحق اهتماما خاصا، وإذ تقر بأنه يتعين مواصلة بحث خيار تأمين دفع التعويضات في هذا الصدد من قبل حكومة إسرائيل،
