It has entered reservations as to the appropriateness of introducing a specific compensation schedule which, while based on the Federal Act on assistance to victims of crime(LAVI), would provide for compensation for acts not covered by that legislation, either because they were committed before the Act entered into force or because they do not fall within the category of criminal offence
