To this end, the golf club shaft according to the present invention comprises: an upper part having a grip fixed thereon; a middle part of a predetermined length extending from the upper part; and a lower part extending from the middle part and having a head fixed thereon, wherein the middle part (24) is formed as a linear type to prevent a reference location from being changed even in the case where a golf ball comes into contact with one side of the golf club shaft when the golf club is standing vertically on the ground for green reading, and wherein the middle part (24) comprises an identifier (10) to identify the point where the golf club has a single center of gravity (C) when the golf club is stood vertically.
