Based on issues of major concern to the Central African women, the themes of the consultation included (a) the feminization of poverty and new technologies; (b) peace and security: the implementation of Security Council resolution 1325 (2000); (c) human rights and the fight against HIV/AIDS; (d) good governance and the participation of women in decision-making; and (e) social mobilization.
