السيد وولف (جامايكا): تكلم باسم الجماعة الكاريبية فأعرب عن الارتياح للتوصيات الواردة في تقرير الأمين العام ( # ) وضم صوته إلى النداء الداعي إلى تعزيز قدرات مكتب الأمم المتحدة المعني بالمخدرات والجريمة في مجال التعاون التقني لكي تصبح أنشطة المساعدة التقنية التي يضطلع بها في الميدان، والتي تتناول بالخصوص مكافحة الجريمة المنظمة والفساد والاتجار بالأشخاص والإرهاب وتمويله، جزءا لا يتجزأ من البرامج القائمة في تلك الميادين

Mr. Wolfe (Jamaica), speaking on behalf of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM), said that CARICOM welcomed the recommendations contained in the report of the Secretary-General ( # ) and joined in calling for the strengthening of the technical cooperation capacity of UNODC, so that the latter's technical assistance activities in the field, particularly to combat organized crime, corruption, trafficking in persons, and terrorism and its financing, could be mainstreamed into the respective programmes
