ونتيجة لانتهاج ذلك النهج، أعرب أعضاء لجنة القانون الدولي عن مجموعة شديدة التنوع من وجهات النظر والآراء والملاحظات والاقتراحات خلال مناقشة هذا الموضوع، وهي تتناول كلا من جوهر هذه الممارسة وجانبها الرسمي، ابتداء من عنوانها وانتهاء باختيار الشكل النهائي لعمل اللجنة في هذا الميدان.

As a result of that approach, a great variety of views, opinions, remarks and suggestions was expressed by the members of the Commission during the debate on the topic, dealing with both the substance and the formal side of this exercise, starting with its very title and ending with the choice of the final form of the work of the Commission in this field.
