وجاء في رد الحكومة أن الأشخاص المتهمين يتمتعون كلهم تمتعاً كاملاً بمظلة الإجراءات القانونية السليمة، بما في ذلك حق الاستئناف أمام محكمة استئناف جامايكا والحق في الاستئناف أمام اللجنة القضائية لمجلس الملكة الخاص.

According to the Government all accused persons have the full benefit of due process of law, including appeals to the Court of Appeal of Jamaica and the right to appeal to the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council.
