The Joint Meeting noted that the references to Directives 67/548/EEC and 1999/45/EC or to Regulation 1272/2008/EC in 2.2.61.1.14, 2.2.8.1.9 and 2.2.9.1.10.5, originally included to resolve issues related to differences in classification between RID/ADR/ADN and other legislation, ultimately posed problems for industry because of the various interpretations of those involved in the transport chain.
