وقال إنه، بالإضافة إلى ذلك، وجَّهَ في 30 آذار/مارس 2006 رسالة إلى رئيس مجلس الأمن، كرر فيها الإعراب عن استمرار اعتراض اللجنة على حذف البنود التي تتصل بممارسة الشعب الفلسطيني لحقوقه غير القابلة للتصرف، وقضية فلسطين، والوضع في الشرق الأوسط، من قائمة المسائل المعروضة على مجلس الأمن؛ لأنها محل اهتمام خاص ليس من اللجنة فحسب، ولكن من أغلبية الدول الأعضاء أيضاً.

In addition, on 30 March 2006, he had addressed a letter to the President of the Security Council in which he had reiterated the Committee’s continuing objection to the deletion from the list of items of which the Council was currently seized of those items relating to the exercise of the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people, the question of Palestine and the situation in the Middle East, which were of special concern not only to the Committee but also to the majority of Member States.

Además, el 30 de marzo de 2006 envió una carta al Presidente del Consejo de Seguridad en que reiteraba la continua objeción del Comité respecto de que se retiren de la lista de temas que actualmente tiene ante sí el Consejo las cuestiones relativas al ejercicio de los derechos inalienables del pueblo palestino, la cuestión de Palestina y de la situación en el Oriente Medio, temas de especial interés no sólo para el Comité sino también para la mayoría de los Estados Miembros.

Par ailleurs, le 30 mars 2006, il a adressé une lettre au Président du Conseil de sécurité dans laquelle il réaffirmait l’opposition persistante du Comité à la suppression, sur la liste des questions dont le Conseil est actuellement saisi, de celles qui ont trait à l’exercice des droits inaliénables du peuple palestinien, à la question de Palestine et à la situation au Moyen-Orient, questions qui préoccupent tout particulièrement non seulement le Comité mais aussi la plupart des États Membres.

Кроме того, 30 марта 2006 года оратор направил Председателю Совета Безопасности письмо, в котором вновь повторил, что Комитет продолжает возражать против исключения из списка вопросов текущей повестки дня Совета тех вопросов, которые касаются осуществления неотъемлемых прав палестинского народа, а также вопроса о Палестине и положении на Ближнем Востоке, являющихся предметом особой озабоченности не только для Комитета, но и для большинства государств-членов.
