وتقوم الإدارة بوضع خطة عمل لتنفيذ اقتراح الأمين العام الذي أحاطت به الجمعية العامة علما في دورتها السابعة والخمسين، في الفقرة 15 من قرارها 57/300، الداعي إلى ترشيد شبكة مراكز الإعلام التابعة للأمم المتحدة حول محاور إقليمية، بدءا بإقامة محور إقليمي في أوروبا الغربية.

The Department is developing an action plan to implement the proposal of the Secretary-General, of which the General Assembly took note in paragraph 15 of its resolution 57/300, to rationalize the network of United Nations information centres around regional hubs, starting with the creation of a regional hub in Western Europe.
