At the same time, I sent letters enclosing the text of the resolution to the Secretary-General of the United Nations and President of the Security Council affirming the demand of the Council of the League of Arab States for this issue to remain before the Security Council until Iran ends its occupation of the three Arab islands (Greater Tunb, Lesser Tunb and Abu Musa) and the United Arab Emirates recovers full sovereignty over them.

Al mismo tiempo remití cartas con el texto de la resolución al Secretario General de las Naciones Unidas y al Presidente del Consejo de Seguridad, reafirmando el reclamo del Consejo de la Liga de los Estados Árabes de que la cuestión siguiera planteada en el Consejo de Seguridad hasta que el Irán ponga fin a su ocupación de las tres islas árabes (Tanb Mayor, Tanb Menor y Abu Musa) y los Emiratos Árabes Unidos recuperen la plena soberanía sobre ellas.

Dans le même temps, j’ai adressé des lettres transmettant le texte de la résolution au Secrétaire général de l’ONU et au Président du Conseil de sécurité réaffirmant que le Conseil de la Ligue des États arabes demande que cette question demeure inscrite à l’ordre du jour du Conseil de sécurité jusqu’à ce que l’Iran mette fin à l’occupation des trois îles arabes et que les Émirats arabes unis recouvrent leur pleine souveraineté sur elles.

Одновременно я направил письма с приложением текста резолюции Генеральному секретарю Организации Объединенных Наций и Председателю Совета Безопасности, подтверждающие требование Совета Лиги арабских государств сохранять этот вопрос в повестке дня Совета Безопасности до тех пор, пока Иран не прекратит свою оккупацию трех арабских островов (Большой Томб, Малый Томб и Абу-Муса), а Объединенные Арабские Эмираты не восстановят полный суверенитет над ними.
