تطلب إلى الأمين العام أن يواصل، بالتشاور مع المعهد، وكذلك مع صناديق الأمم المتحدة وبرامجها، البحث عن السبل والوسائل الكفيلة بالاستفادة من المعهد على نحو منظم في تنفيذ البرامج التدريبية وبرامج بناء القدرات لتحقيق التنمية الاقتصادية والاجتماعية للبلدان النامية؛

Requests the Secretary-General, in consultation with the Institute and with United Nations funds and programmes, to continue to explore ways and means systematically to utilize the Institute in the execution of training and capacity-building programmes for the economic and social development of developing countries;
