The Conference reviewed and validated strategic documents, including the draft code of conduct concerning the prevention and repression of piracy, armed robbery against ships and illicit maritime activities in West and Central Africa; the draft memorandum of understanding between ECCAS, ECOWAS and GGC on maritime safety and security in West and Central Africa; and the draft declaration of the Heads of State and Government of the two regions on maritime safety and security in their common maritime domain.

На этой Конференции были рассмотрены и утверждены стратегические документы, включая проект кодекса поведения, касающегося предупреждения и пресечения пиратства, вооруженного разбоя против судов и незаконной морской деятельности в Западной и Центральной Африке; проект меморандума о взаимопонимании между ЭСЦАГ, ЭКОВАС и Комиссией Гвинейского залива по вопросам обеспечения безопасности на море в Западной и Центральной Африке; а также проект декларации глав государств и правительств двух регионов по вопросам обеспечения безопасности на море на их общих морских пространствах.
