واعتمدت اللجنة، في قرارها 2000/59، نص مشروع البروتوكول الاختياري الملحق باتفاقية حقوق الطفل بشأن بيع الأطفال واستخدامهم في البغاء وفي إنتاج المواد الخليعة، الوارد في المرفق باء بالقرار، وأحالته، عن طريق المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي، إلى الجمعية العامة لإقراره.

The Commission, in its resolution 2000/59, adopted the text of the draft optional protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child on the sale of children, child prostitution and child pornography, as contained in annex B to the resolution, and transmitted it, through the Economic and Social Council, to the General Assembly for approval.

La Comisión, en su resolución 2000/59, aprobó el texto del proyecto de protocolo facultativo de la Convención sobre los Derechos del Niño relativo a la venta de niños, la prostitución infantil y la utilización de niños en la pornografía que figuraba en el anexo B de la resolución, y lo transmitió, por conducto del Consejo Económico y Social, a la Asamblea General para su aprobación.

В своей резолюции 2000/59 Комиссия приняла текст проекта факультативного протокола к Конвенции о правах ребенка, касающегося торговли детьми, детской проституции и детской порнографии, содержащийся в приложении В к резолюции, и препроводила его через Экономический и Социальный Совет Генеральной Ассамблее для одобрения.
