Meanwhile, the expected rise in policy rates among key advanced economies together with the concerns surrounding more intensified trade protectionist measures resulted in volatile capital movement. This factor, combined with the more evident economic recovery and increased inflationary pressure, have led some developing countries to increase policy rates in order to mitigate risks from inflationary pressures and capital movement volatilities.
