For at sikre en ensartet anvendelse af den faelles toldtarifs nomenklatur boer der vedtages bestemmelser for tariferingen af et produkt, der fremstilles paa basis af tamarindefrugtkoed ved, at man med kogende vand oploeser frugtens vandoploeselige bestanddele; ekstrakten filtreres og koncentreres derefter under vakuum, indtil denne foreligger i form af en homogen pasta; produktet anvendes bl. a. i fremstillingen af visse sovse;

Um die einheitliche Anwendung des Schemas des Gemeinsamen Zolltarifs zu gewährleisten, sind Vorschriften erforderlich für die Tarifierung eines Erzeugnisses, das aus dem Fruchtfleisch der Tamarinde durch Ausziehen der löslichen Bestandteile mit kochendem Wasser gewonnen wird. Der Extrakt wird anschließend geklärt und im Vakuum zu einer homogenen Paste eingedickt. Diese wird vor allem bei der Herstellung von Sossen verwendet.

Whereas, in order to ensure uniform application of the nomenclature of the Common Customs Tariff, provisions must be laid down concerning the tariff classification of a product obtained by treatment with boiling water of the flesh of the tamarind, followed by clarification of the extract and concentration under vacuum to a homogeneous paste, and used mainly in the preparation of certain sauces;
