In Spain, the ruling People’s Party has tabled an amendment in Congress to the Metrology bill seeking to increase Government control over electricity prices by controlling the structure of access charges for the electricity transport and distribution networks and the conditions for applying those charges.

El Partido Popular (el actual partido de Gobierno) incorporó durante la tramitación en el Congreso del proyecto de ley de Metrología una enmienda que tiene por objeto aumentar el control del Gobierno sobre el precio de la luz a través del control de la estructura y las condiciones de aplicación de los peajes de acceso a las redes de trasporte y distribución eléctrica.
