تشجع الأمين العام على مواصلة تعزيز التنسيق بين إدارة شؤون الإعلام وغيرها من الإدارات في الأمانة العامة في إطار نهجها الموجه نحو العملاء، وتحديد الجماهير المستهدفة ووضع برامج إعلامية واستراتيجيات متعلقة بوسائط الإعلام لتغطية القضايا ذات الأولوية، وتشدد على أن القدرات والأنشطة الإعلامية في الإدارات الأخرى ينبغي أن تسير بتوجيه من إدارة شؤون الإعلام؛

Encourages the Secretary-General to continue to strengthen the coordination between the Department of Public Information and other departments of the Secretariat in the context of its client-oriented approach, to identify target audiences and develop information programmes and media strategies for priority issues, and emphasizes that public information capacities and activities in other departments should function under the guidance of the Department
