We are living in environments of multimedia convergence and, thus, we must take into account the influence of the audiovisual media in the ways young people perceive reality and how they see themselves reflected in the media because the media contribute to the configuration of their identity (Aierbe, Medrano, Martínez de Morentín, 2011).

Puesto que vivimos en entornos de convergencia multimedia, debe tenerse en cuenta la presencia de lo audiovisual en los modos de percibir la realidad por parte de las generaciones más jóvenes y de cómo se ven reflejados en los medios porque estos contribuyen a configurar y definir su identidad (Aierbe, Medrano, Martínez de Morentín, 2011).
