In furtherance of the spirit of national reconciliation, President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf hosted a celebratory dinner to mark the end of Ramadan, which was attended by Muslim leaders, members of the Mandingo ethnic group and former warring faction leaders, including Sekou Damate Conneh of the former Liberians United for Reconciliation and Democracy and Alhaji Kromah of the former United Liberation Movement for Democracy in Liberia
