وساعد برنامج المقارنات الدولية لأفريقيا، الذي يقوم بتنسيقه وقيادته (ماليا وتقنيا) مصرف التنمية الأفريقي، عدة بلدان أفريقية أيضا في وضع استراتيجياتها الوطنية لتنمية الإحصاءات، وإنشاء مراكز التدريب الإحصائية الإقليمية، لتحسين الخدمات التي تقدمها للبلدان.
