This doctoral thesis has been carried out in the field of experimental Nonlinear Optics, within a framework of basic research. The object of study is the experimental manipulation of structures that can emerge in the transverse section of a laser beam under certain conditions. Besides, these structures are also characterized by their phase such as vortices, solitons or phase domains. Different photorefractive crystal types (PRCs) are used as a non-linear active element, someone with a long response times such as BaTiO3 and SBN, and other ones with short times such as KTLN. The manuscript is written as a compendium of articles, with a total of five publications.

Esta tesis doctoral se ha realizado en el campo de la Óptica No Lineal experimental, dentro de un marco de investigación básica. El objeto de estudio es la manipulación experimental de estructuras que pueden emerger en la sección transversal de un haz láser bajo determinadas condiciones, y que tiempos de respuesta largos como el BaTiO3 y el SBN o tiempos cortos como el KTLN. El presente manuscrito está redactado como un compendio de artículos, con un total de cinco publicaciones.
