ويبدأ الاستهلاك في الشهر الذي يحوز فيه المعهد أصلا من الأصول ويتحكم فيه وفقاً للشروط التجارية الدولية ولا تُقيد أي مصروفات استهلاك في الشهر الذي يتم فيه إخراج الممتلكات والمنشآت والمعدات من الخدمة أو التصرف فيها.

Depreciation commences in the month in which UNITAR gains control over an asset in accordance with international commercial terms, and no depreciation is charged in the month of the retirement or disposal of the property, plant and equipment.
