Provided are solid supports that contain at least one hydrophilic ligand; and at least one hydrophobic ligand, where amount of the at least one hydrophobic ligand on the solid support relative to the amount of the at least one hydrophilic ligand on the solid support is adjusted for binding target nucleic acid(s) from a sample onto the solid support and/or for eluting the bound target nucleic acid(s) from the solid support, so that the amount of target nucleic acid(s) bound to the solid support and/or recovered after elution from the solid support is about 5% to about 500% greater than the amount of target nucleic acid(s) bound to the solid support and/or recovered from the solid support in the absence of either the at least one hydrophobic ligand or the at least one hydrophilic ligand or both.

L'invention concerne des supports solides qui contiennent au moins un ligand hydrophile; et au moins un ligand hydrophobe, la quantité du au moins un ligand hydrophobe sur le support solide par rapport à la quantité du au moins un ligand hydrophile sur le support solide étant ajustée pour lier le ou les acide(s) nucléique(s) cible(s) d'un échantillon sur le support solide et/ou pour éluer le ou les acide(s) nucléique(s) cible(s) lié(s) à partir du support solide, de sorte que la quantité du ou des acide(s) nucléique(s) cible(s) lié(s) au support solide et/ou récupéré(s) après élution depuis le support solide est d'environ 5 % à environ 500 % supérieure à la quantité du ou des acide(s) nucléique(s) cible(s) lié(s) au support solide et/ou récupéré(s) à partir du support solide en l'absence du au moins un ligand hydrophobe ou du au moins un ligand hydrophile ou des deux.
