A tubular bandage (12) comprises a length of tubular-knitted fabric having one or more courses of substantially inelastic yarn interknitted with one or more courses of elastic yarn throughout said length, the bandage having a first end portion (1) rolled inwardly from the free end and the other end portion (2) rolled outwardly from the opposite free end to form two rolls, and there is incorporated in, associated with or otherwise applied to the tubular bandage, means which may serve to render the bandage impervious to fluids, may incorporate a microbial agent, may render the bandage supportive and/or may include a supporting structure such as a splint (15).

Le bandage présente une première partie terminale (1) roulée vers l'intérieur depuis l'extrémité libre, et l'autre partie terminale (2) roulée vers l'extérieur depuis l'extrémité libre opposée pour former deux rouleaux; sont incorporés au bandage tubulaire des éléments, soit associés soit appliqués différemment, qui peuvent servir à rendre le bandage imperméable aux fluides et qui peuvent intégrer un agent microbien, rendre le bandage supportable et/ou comprendre une structure de support telle qu'une attelle (15).
