The Environmental Impact Statement issued by the Government of the Autonomous Community of Castile and Leon under Order FYM/796/2013 (Official Gazette of Castile and Leon of 8 October) does not regard the waste generated by the mineral processing plant as radioactive, but rather as naturally occurring radioactive materials (NORMs).
