Την Κυριακή πήγαμε μια βόλτα στο Νιχονμπάσι και πλησιάζοντας στην ίδια την ιστορική γέφυρα (δε θυμάμαι αν έχω ξαναγράψει εδώ ότι πρόκειται για το «χιλιόμετρο μηδέν» της Ιαπωνίας –το σημείο δηλαδή από το οποίο υπολογίζονται όλες οι χιλιομετρικές αποστάσεις στη χώρα- όμως σίγουρα το έχω γράψει στο είδαμε την κυκλοφορία κομμένη, και πολύ κόσμο μαζεμένο.

On Sunday we went to Nihonbashi for a walk and when we got closer to the historic bridge itself (I’m not sure if I’ve written this before here but Nihonbashi is “kilometer zero” of Japan; that is, all distances are calculated from this point. Anyway, I’ve certainly written about it in Greecejapan) we saw that the traffic had been cut off and there were lots of people gathered there.
