The sport movement, in conjunction with the South African Football Players’ Union and international agencies such as Football Against Racism in Europe and the International Federation of Professional Footballers, ran an international campaign known as Show Racism the Red Card during these major football spectacles that were broadcast across the globe and on an ongoing basis thereafter.
