Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von gegebenenfalls substituierten 3-Halogen-pyridinen, insbesondere 3,5-Dichlorpyridin, bei dem man einen Polyhalogenacetaldehyd mit einem (Meth-)Acrolein in Gegenwart eines stark polaren Lösungsmittels und in Gegenwart von Kupfer(I)-chlorid unter Bildung eines Glutardialdehydderivates umsetzt und dieses mit einem Ammoniumsalz in ein gegebenenfalls substituiertes 3-Halogenpyridin überführt.

The invention relates to a method for producing optionally substituted 3-halopyridines, especially 3,5-dichloropyridine, according to which a polyhaloacetaldehyde is reacted with a (meth-)acrolein in the presence of a strongly polar solvent and in the presence of copper (I) chloride while forming a glutaric dialdehyde derivative, and said glutaric dialdehyde derivative is converted with an ammonia salt into an optionally substituted 3-halopyridine.

L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de préparer des pyridines 3-halogénées éventuellement substituées, notamment de la 3,5-dichloropyridine. Selon ce procédé, un aldéhyde de polyhalogènacétal est mis à réagir avec une (méth-)acroléine en présence d'un solvant fortement polaire et en présence de chlorure de cuivre (I) d'un dérivé d'aldéhyde glutarique, ce dernier étant transformé avec un sel d'ammonium en une pyridine 3-halogénée éventuellement substituée.
