Abstract: ABSTRACT: This article draws a comparative analysis between the different forms of poetic image created by Pierre Reverdy, Francis Ponge, and André Breton, given that the semantic implications of their own poetic expressions differed considerably from one another despite their belonging to the same historical-cultural period.

RESUMEN: El propósito de este artículo es el de trazar un análisis comparativo entre las distintas formas de imagen poética llevadas a cabo por Pierre Reverdy, Francis Ponge y André Breton, dado que, pese a que se trata de autores que coincidieron en un mismo ámbito histórico-cultural, el alcance semántico de sus respectivas expresiones poéticas diferiría considerablemente.
