The autonomous government of Galicia has announced that it is to promote the construction of a turbot farm that will occupy an area of 300 000 m2 on the isthmus of Cabo Touriñán, in the site of Community importance (SCI) ES111005-Costa da Morte, part of the Natura 2000 network. Most of the farm would be located in the priority habitats area (codes 4020 and 4040).
